The Next Generation Friction welding is a well understood “joining technology” which has been used by aviation and automotive industries for decades. Pewag is the first chain producer to apply and refine the friction welding process for the production of the next generation of chains. News has just come in that Pewag will soon be adding two new lifting point sizes to their already comprehensive range of lifting and lashing points. The Profilift Delta (PLDW) model is poised to get M56 and M64 versions, both of which will be rated with a WLL of 16 tonnes. Early indications are that both versions will be available from mid September 2016. More information to follow.
